What this notice covers

Altoray LLC, doing business as The Alchemy Lab, operates this website. This notice applies to the public website, its email signup forms, and product experiences embedded on the website. The platform is for adults age 18 and older.

The platform Privacy Notice explains account and activity data. The Terms of Use explain the trial, membership, and separate Google AI charges.

Analytics

We use optional Google Analytics cookies to understand page visits and interactions. Google Analytics does not load unless you allow these cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or send audio, transcripts, student work, email addresses, or other directly identifying information in website analytics events.

Your choice is stored in your browser so the website can remember it. You can change that choice below.

Email

If you join the email list, we process the email address and optional first name you provide, along with basic signup information such as the page or campaign. We use this information to send the resources and product updates described beside the form. Marketing emails include a way to unsubscribe.

Joining the email list is optional and does not create a teaching workspace. We retain your signup and email preferences so we can record consent and honor an unsubscribe request. We also use protected network-address information to prevent signup abuse.

Product experiences

An embedded pronunciation activity may request microphone access only after you choose to begin recording. The activity will explain what it collects before recording starts. Audio, transcripts, feedback, and student work are not sent to website analytics.

The embedded Alchemy demo uses platform cookies to maintain its session and apply device-based demo limits. Its device cookie is set for up to one year. These cookies operate separately from your optional website analytics choice.

Do not enter identifying student information into a public demonstration. Teachers and schools should follow their own privacy and approval requirements before using any product experience with students.

Challenge applications

If you apply for an Alchemy challenge, we use the contact and eligibility information you provide to assess the application and contact you about participation. The Participant Information explains challenge data, providers, and the normal deletion or de-identification period of 12 months after the cohort ends.

Service providers and retention

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help protect the embedded public demo from automated abuse. It processes browser and network signals for this security check. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy for details.

We use Vercel for website hosting, Google Analytics for optional analytics, and, when connected, the Alchemy platform and Resend to record email preferences and deliver marketing email. These providers process information under their applicable service terms and privacy commitments. We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose described, legal obligations, security, and legitimate business records.

Your choices

You can decline website analytics, unsubscribe from marketing email, or ask us about information you previously submitted. Browser and device controls may also let you delete locally stored preferences or deny microphone access.
